{maternity} The Hoke Family
A breath of fresh air-a smile-a precious baby about to be born-proof that there are many wonderful things happening in this world amidst the craziness. It is important to stop and acknowledge them and be overwhelmed with gratitude for the reminder they give: one of hope and purity and happiness. Our plans for this photoshoot were a blessing-the last minute timing was perfect because it never would’ve happened if we waited any longer. Usually Sam and I are on the same side of

{family} The Burland Family
It may have been a last minute scheduled photoshoot, but everything worked out perfectly with the Burland family. With the simplistic idea of getting a few family pictures of their adorable family, the hour spent with Kristina, Brendan, Shelby, and their dog, Callie, was easy-going and so enjoyable. Originally, we planned on meeting at Villanova, which is a very short distance from their house, but the weather was not reliable so we resorted to Plan B. This ended up being jus

{newborn} The Ahern Family
Noelle-a beautiful name for a beautiful baby girl born to a beautiful family on November 7th. It was an eventful weekend as John and I ventured up to Boston; and though we got there a little later than planned, Ryan, Kate, Celeste and Noelle were ready for us to meet the newest, perfect little princess. All snuggled up in Kate’s arms, dozed in a milk-induced sleep, Noelle rested contently. Celeste, fitting her new role as big sister famously, was so excited to start playing r

{family} The Palmieri Family
Santa Clause came to town--specifically to visit the Palmieri kids, and it was MAGICAL! With his reindeer resting up, Santa arrived at their house in a white car, with rosy-red cheeks and hauling a large bag full of toys. Rosario, Sophia, and Vinny were anxiously waiting at the door, jumping up and down as they saw him walking up their driveway. The three of them looked magazine-perfect in their Christmas best. The awe showing on their faces left them starstruck as Santa made

{newborn} The Fairlie Family
New house...New baby! Congratulations to the Fairlie family on their baby girl, Reagan! Easy Sunday morning came, and I couldn’t wait to meet this little munchkin. I walked into Trish and Todd’s new house for the first time and was greeted by Reese, Reagan’s older sister, and Blitz, their gigantic Saint Bernard. Trish was just finishing up Reagan’s feed in their living room which was cooly decorated in all whites, blues, and grays, Reese was anxiously awaiting Chris’s arrival

{newborn} The Dilworth Family
Claire kept us all anxiously waiting for her arrival, and certainly didn’t disappoint! Her cute, chubby little cheeks made their grand entrance into the world almost a week after her due date but just in time to ring in the new year and become the perfect addition to the family. After fighting a cold for what seemed to be forever, I was finally able to steal some quality time with her and was happy that being 9 months pregnant myself, I was able to capture some of the newest

{family} The Comer Family
If anyone wants to take notes on how to get a toddler to behave, say cheese on cue, model like a little GQ, and make taking family photos as easy as Sunday morning, then contact Esther and Ulick Comer. It was one of those last minute, scheduled the morning of, photoshoots that couldn’t have gone more perfectly. The sun was shining bright despite the chilly morning and the Comer’s backyard was illuminated with so many autumn nooks just begging to be photographed. They recently

{newborn} The Montemuro Family
Exactly two years (and one day) after his big brother Owen was born, Logan came into this world. Five days following his grand entrance, I had the pleasure of getting to meet the newest addition to the Montemuro family, a family I have watched grow for the last several years. I walked into their house to a little bundle of blue asleep on Phil and Owen, a ball of energy playing with his new “big brother” basketball hoop. He asked me where Chris and James were the second I walk

{family} The Ruskowski Family
The air was crisp and salty. The wind carried the heat of the day off the ocean; the kind of heat that stays on your skin long after you leave the beach. The sun was setting, but everything was illuminated. The last few people were slowly making their way home as we walked down 83rd Street beach in Stone Harbor, NJ. That was where I met Anne and her three children, all teenagers and all smiles. Some walkers stopped to tell the Ruskowski kids how great they looked and a couple
