{maternity} The Borchard Family
In case you haven’t heard me screaming it from the rooftops for the last nine months, my sister and her family are expecting baby boy #2. Anything is possible, and in the midst of… A LOT going on, we made sure these precious moments were captured before his arrival .
I got to Larissa and Stephen’s house around 10 am. Riss was upstairs getting ready and naturally Jordan was vacuuming while Stephen got his clothes together. Taking a little break from his chores, it was a perfect opportunity to hang out with Jordan while he ate a waffle on the counter. I am not kidding when I say he is one of my favorite people to talk to. He and I had a full conversation with him.. We laughed and danced and by the time Riss came down, he was fed and energized to go.
The pictures speak for themselves…so to say Larissa looked beautiful is an understatement..and the most important thing was that she was comfortable, which is extremely hard to be at nine months pregnant. With some bare space (haha), I picked a spot that was well-lit in their living room. The blank wall was perfect and so were the three of them. The amazing thing about photographing my sister is I know exactly what she wanted, the angles she wanted, the pictures she wanted, and most importantly, what she didn’t want. The shoot went so smoothly and we had all the shots in about 40 mins. Jordan even helped with some pictures. He was the most precious little angel. The only thing needed was the three of them and a picture of the baby’s sonogram. What else could you need?
After the pictures, Riss did a quick outfit change and we finished the special morning by going out to brunch for her birthday with two of her best friends. Could this day have been any more perfect? No. Our hearts were full, our bellies were full, and now, our arms are so ready to hold the newest little love of our family. I love you, Tish. “I’m here.” Hahah always.
