{newborn} The Lavallee Family

Introducing Andre James and his proud, esctatic parents! On a very windy day in April, I pulled into the driveway of the Lavalle's home anxious to meet their new son. Adam and Cara did not have any specific ideas for their son's newborn photos, and being AJ is their first child, they welcomed me in with opened minds and arms. Though the day was chilly and gusty, it could not have gone any more perfectly. Snuggly and warm in his swing, I met AJ as soon as I walked in. At just two weeks old, Andre James set a presence. His calm, amiable disposition added to his cuddly, content personality.

As I spoke with the new parents and looked into their eyes, I noticed the familiar adoring and overwhelming fulfillment they had over their son. They wanted to show him off to the world, and that is where I came in. AJ was clad in an adorable little baseball onesie, honoring his Dad's passion for coaching baseball at EA. Posing confidently with his Dad's old glove and ball, AJ made it known that he is not only a natural GQ, but a future ball player. Posing with old books that were from Mom and Dad's childhood also added to the studious and intelligent sentiment of both parents being teachers!

It was evident that this little boy was loved beyond words and that to Adam and Cara, he was everything. The emotions of becoming a new parent are endless; and these were the moments I wanted to capture. New to the world and new to being parents, the raw feelings are evident in each photo. Nothing is more beautiful and real.
